Happy Saturday friends 🖤🍂 I recently switched up this little area off our kitchen. Whenever I style shelves like this, I can’t help but think 💭 please God let me get bored of this BEFORE we have an earthquake 😬. Knowing my luck, I’d put my favorite @mackenziechilds piece up high and then the “big one” would hit our area. On that note, I’ll probably go ahead and change this today 🤪😅

I loved designing this space with @jossandmain. Their create a room feature helped me see the space put together before ordering and I was even able to see the final pieces with this beautiful @anewalldecor mural to make sure I had the perfect match. A post I never in a thousand years thought I would write is on my blog today. I waited 7 months but finally feel ready to talk about it. Words could never express the loss I’ve felt this year. Many days I thought for sure I would wake up and it wouldn’t be real - just a bad dream. But on the painful journey to healing my heart, I’ve had wonderful opportunities to practice self-care and show love to myself. Part of that road to better health included creating a space that was just for me. A room that embodies who I am as a woman and a place I could retreat to on my worst of days. So this is it. And I am so thankful to my partner @jossandmain for helping me create this sanctuary. It’s been therapeutic to have a project like this and I am forever grateful. 🖤 Link to the blog is in my bio

When you start to feel like things should have been better this year, remember the mountains and valleys that got you here. They are not accidents, and those moments weren't in vain.
