Disclosure: I was compensated by World Market to shop their new spring items but as always, all items are chosen and styled by me and all opinions are my own.
Hi guys!! I'm bringing you a little spring décor inspiration today using products from the new Spring collection at World Market. I love the change of seasons! The most hopeful season change of all though is Spring, of course. Just when you've had enough rainy, grey days up in Seattle, the cherry trees start to blossom and the days start to get longer. I feel like spring came a little bit early this year so I started to freshen things up around the house in February and now I'm going to share a little updated corner with you today and how you can copy the look!
Something I love to do during the warmer seasons is bring the outdoors in! From bringing in tree branches and foliage to bringing in outdoor furniture, I do it all! Yes! Outdoor furniture!
This chair is part of the new outdoor spring collection at World Market. It's a weathered grey wicker piece and I love how it brings in a lighter, airier feel to this space. You can always add textures like pillows and throws to it to make it extra inviting. The wicker material just screams warmer weather days to me!
To make it a little extra comfy, I threw in this throw pillow and really couldn't stop with just one. I adore this pillow because of the fringe and the light blue stripes. Plus, it's perfectly plush!
What is a chair without a side table, right? I picked up this little gold arrow accent table for a steal. It's only 79.99 at World Market right now and I feel like it can float around to any room in our house. The glass top gives it that airy look I wanted and the gold metal brings a little glam to this corner.
I love adding plants around the house for depth and design aesthetic but all plants should be grounded properly. I suggest using this sea grass basket from World Market for your floor plants because it is narrow at the top and not too tall - just the perfect size. It grounds the plant without distracting from it!
I love adding a few pops of color to any room during spring and summer. When I saw this throw blanket with the bright aqua and light blues mixed with grey (obviously one of my favorite colors), I snatched it up right away. Just because the weather is warming up doesn't mean you need to bury all your throws in your linen closet. I like to keep light throw blankets out for texture purposes and put away the heavy ones for when fall returns.
I'm not a huge believer that walls need to filled to max. I like simple but striking statements like this metal wall clock. This is definitely my favorite piece of the whole look. I was the most excited about this clock when I saw it in the store and couldn't wait to hang it. I love that it has that rustic, almost rusty texture around the edges and it's super lightweight. It looks clean, effortless, and makes that statement I was going for.
To tie something into my arrow accent table, I chose to hang this wood and metal arrow wall hook to hang some springy statement pieces.
Design tip: if the frame comes with a gorgeous architectural photo inside it, don't worry about swapping it out for a personal photo. I save personal photos for larger prints.
I hung my new bag and scarf that I picked up at World Market on the hooks and they basically count as decor when they are that pretty!
To fill the accent table, there are endless design opportunities with this thing. I considered a large vase with flowers, a picture frame, a table clock (there is no such thing as too many clocks), coasters and candles, and tons more. I landed on this geometric candle holder (technically a geo terrarium), candle, and a faux succulent. I loved the simplicity of this because there was enough going on in this corner already, keeping the table simple was important to me. A favorite book and a refreshing drink just pull me right in!
