Hello! And welcome to the my Christmas home tour! I am so happy to share this holiday tour with some of my blogging friends and if you are visiting from Beautiful Treasures Blog, I welcome you!!
Sharing our homes is a funny thing you know. I started sharing my home two years ago on Instagram because I really just enjoy decorating. I wasn't doing it because it was my job and I wasn't doing it for the approval of others. I simply enjoyed changing things around in my home and taking pictures. Since then, the blog and my Instagram account has evolved a little and I have been able to do it as more than just a hobby - which as been a wonderful bonus to me and blessing. But with that comes some darkness. When you are sharing your home and your craft with the world, it can be easy to find yourself feeling bad. Whether its because jealousy creeps in, or feelings of inadequacy, or even some hurtful criticism. It can definitely be discouraging. But I have to remind myself that this is MY home. The home where I love on my family, where I've welcomed my babies into our lives, and the place where I've shared many meals with friends and family over the years. I decorate for me and those lovely people in my life. I don't decorate so that someone 2000 miles away can tell me my style is ugly or not their taste. Especially around this time of year, the blogging world can seem competitive almost. Like its a big game. Which is silly! I put up Christmas decor so that my kids can be in awe of the magic of Christmas. So we can all come together on December 25th and celebrate the one true King who was given to us as a gift from our Heavenly Father. This is my home. This is where we teach our kids about who Jesus is and why we celebrate Christmas. It's just perfect for us. Which means it may not be perfect for everyone else. And that's ok. If you come to my blog occasionally for a little inspo, that's wonderful! I am THRILLED to have you! I just hope somewhere in it, you can get to know me a little and see a little of my family and the love we have in our home. And if you leave feeling just a little more inspired - that's just a bonus!
I'd love to get started and take you on a tour of our little cottage. Our home is small and humble so it's easy to Christmas decor in almost every corner - and that is just about what I did! So from here on out, your'e mostly going to see photos and not a ton of talking. But hey, aren't those the best type of blog posts anyways ;)
You can see how I've changed some things around in the living room in the following photos. The first few photos are from the Here Comes Santa Tour I posted about 2 weeks ago in partnership with Grandin Road.
That was a lovely tour that I was honored to be a part of along with some of my favorite bloggers. If you'd like to see more photos from that tour, then click HERE.
I love to change things around and tweek things as I go. So you may see some of the same items throughout my house as you go along!
Some of my favorite holiday decor items can be found at Grandin Road so be sure to check them out!
I have never decorated my home with pink before (other than my daughter's room). But I wanted to do something super different than anything I had done in the past. Little did I know it would be such a popular color this year! I guess that means I had the right idea! You will see a lot more pink on this blog hop when you visit the other bloggers! It's the color of the year!
My inspiration came from these gorgeous paper peonies and anemones from my friend over at the Flower Voyage boutique on Etsy. She makes the most beautiful and detailed paper flowers. She sent these to me as a bouquet and I thought they would make a wonderful starting point for my Christmas decor this year! They were my main inspiration!
I filled my tree with varying shades of pink ornaments, snowy branches, mint colored leaves, and sparkling reindeer! A totally different look than last year!
One of the best additions to this room this year was the Dolcina area rug from RugsUSA. I get so many questions on this and it definitely makes a big statement! It cozies up the room and gives it a heavily textured vibe!
I added in hints of pink throughout the room. Just subtly. I started with these gorgeous custom pillows from Jolie Marche. She is BEYOND talented. I can't look around her shop too much or someone is going to have to hide my wallet. And by someone, I mean my husband! She created a pale pink marble design, the three ornaments design, and a floral design all for me! She is INCREDIBLE!
We have a huge sectional which is perfect for our big family and we will be hosting Christmas with our extended family here so we have it arranged to get the most seating possible. The wonderful thing about LoveSac sactionals is that you can rearrange them as needed.
I added this lovely juju hat from JuJuBoutik to our living room. I think its amazing! I fell in love when it arrived. My plan was to use in our bedroom but I loved the white fluffy texture it brought into this room for the holidays so its temporarily hanging out here until January!
Juju hats are the symbol of prosperity and hold deep meaning within their history. I think these beautiful pieces of art bring a new calming vibe to the room. If you are looking for a high quality one, look no further than JujuBoutik!
Across the room is our office area. We created this desk space by placing three Ikea cabinets equally spaced apart and made the desktop with three long pine boards. Its a really useful space for us (and by useful, I mean usually scattered with paperwork and art projects).
The wreath is from Grandin Road (the left corner flowers and twigs were added on). This wreath is battery operated and perfect for indoors or out!
I use wrapping paper as part of my decor so when I saw this black floral paper from Samantha Santana - I was hooked! I can see us using it as wallpaper in the next home!! She has endless designs that are so amazing! I can't speak her praises enough! She has wrapping paper, wallpaper, cards, and art prints! Check her out!

Now to be honest, I wasn't actually going to do much with this room and I still think I kept it fairly simple (maybe?!). My plan was to put this King of Christmas flocked tree in the corner here and just leave lights on it with no decorations. But to place it here, I had to take down my bottle rack of tea cups I had on the wall. And just out of curiosity, I hung a tea cup on the tree. And then I just kept going. It started having a mad hatter tea party look to it, so then I added clocks (of course!) and just like that - I had a whole new theme to this room that I wasn't planning on. But that's whats fun about decorating - you can make it up as you go!
We plan on hosting our family here for a wonderful Christmas dinner and I'm excited to have this cozy space all lit up on Christmas night!
These adorable Alpine Flocked Trees are from Grandin Road and they are wonderful! They do have lights (I just rarely photograph my trees with lights on). At night, they are so sweet and light up this space perfectly!
This room turned out to be a little winter wonderland with the flocked trees and snow and all the white decor. This space is one of the hardest for me to decorate and photograph so I am fairly pleased with how it all came out!

Our master got a big makeover this fall!! I have been dying to blog it but I'm just waiting on one thing! So I will give you a quick rundown of the new pieces and plan on blogging it all again soon!! The first addition we made was this new beautiful bed from Joss & Main. This is the Teagan bed and its gorgeous! It was so easy to put together (I actually put it together all by myself!). I think its perfect because I love the fabric and nailhead trim but my husband feels like it is masculine enough for him too! We both love it!
Then we added these Quinlan nightstands from Birch Lane. I have wanted nightstands with storage foooooreeeevvverrrrr! These are so beautiful and I couldn't be more happy with them. They perfectly compliment the linen bed and create a balanced look! It's turning into quite the peaceful retreat for me.
We also added this gray bench from Grandin Road. I love having a place to sit before I leave for the day to put on my shoes and the dog loves having this space for her naps - I'm pretty sure she just thinks this is a luxurious dog bed for her. Princess!
One last thing that is new in this room is that beautiful arched mirror from Birch Lane. I love placing a large mirror behind a tree because the light just bounces off it and makes the room glow!
I can't wait to blog this room more! Perhaps, I will blog it again once I take down the Christmas decor and show you a new look! What do you think so far!?

The Babe Cave
You may have caught this room update a few weeks ago on the blog! If not, you can find the original post HERE.
We updated our daughters room with a new bed from Christeli and new bedding from Beddys. To add a touch of Christmas, we put in this ADORABLE nobles fir tree from Grandin Road. You can see this room from the street view and I love pulling up to the house with the tree all lit up. Its so sweet!

The Boys' Shared Room
This room is my hardest room to photograph so I hardly ever blog it! Here are my reasons: 1. Its super small and I don't own wide enough lens and 2. Its ALWAYS messy - lol. I was able to throw all the trains and cars in the closet for a few minutes and clean it up and snap a few shots.
One of the new pieces to this room is this adorable (and washable!!!!) area rug from Lorena Canal. These are sooo soft and sweet! The best part is that they can be thrown in the washing machine. I love the large tassels on the corners and the ombre design! This is the baby blue and gray design. Its been a great update because we spend so much time on the floor in this room setting up train tracks and playing with Thomas so I need a comfy rug to lay on! And the boys need a rug we can wash because lets be honest - boys are gross :)

This little area is the foyer and the first thing you see when you come into our home. I am so ready to get rid of this table and replace it with something new but for the time being, I spruced up this space for Christmas because no space is safe from Christmas decor right now.
These wintery snowy trees are from Grandin Road. They have so many wonderful Christmas decor items to make any room feel like a winter wonderland.
I moved the white felt ball garland from Pearl & Jane over the mirror and loved it so I'm just borrowing it for now from my daughters room!
Our entry is small but I wanted it to have a big impact for our guests. I started with the trees and planters from Grandin Road and the large wreath. This is the same wreath you saw in my office. I have since replaced this wreath with a different one from Grandin Road but haven't updated my photos - can you tell I've been a bit busy. It's just the season of life I'm in! The fresh pine garland is from Trader Joe's.
